I am a journalism student at the University of Florida. I specialize in photojournalism, but I also enjoy writing and multimedia. I like discovering new ways to tell stories and discovering new stories to tell.

I am a multimedia intern at The Gainesville Sun. I was a contributor at The Fine Print, which won campus publication of the year from Campus Progress. I have also done some work with The Independent Florida Alligator and Reax magazine.

I was born and raised in Miami, Fla., and I’m the son of great Cuban parents. I’m very interested in Latin American issues, local issues, and music.

Before anything, I hope I will spend my future being happy. After the happiness, I would love to be a Latin American correspondent for a newspaper or magazine, or a music correspondent.
